Our Story

Dundee Design Flooring was built on a simple idea: flooring should be fitted properly, with care and respect for people’s homes. Too often, we saw rushed jobs and poor preparation leading to uneven floors, gaps, squeaks, and disappointment.

We wanted to do things differently.

With years of hands-on experience in flooring installation and subfloor preparation, we now help homeowners across Dundee, Angus, and surrounding areas transform their spaces with flooring that not only looks good — but is fitted to perform.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Steven and his team came to our rescue, after a horrible experience with the builders we had in before. He lifted up poorly laid LVT, re screeded the floor to a glass finish then lay the LVT beautifully.
I highly recommend Steven, he was super professional, has high standards and very reasonably priced.

Steven did a first class job from start to finish; great communication, a very professional job, and (aside from the new floor) you wouldn’t even know he’d been here! Would most definitely recommend!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Steven and his team did a fantastic job on our home. Our floor had various levels going from room to room and was quite complex. Stephen kept us informed and we are delighted with the finished look. As an interior designer I have worked with a lot of trades over the years and I would definitely recommend Stephen to future clients as someone that is knowledgeable of his trade and does an excellent job.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I couldn’t be happier with the flooring work Steven did in my home. From start to finish, he was professional, reliable, and clearly passionate about his craft. He took the time to explain every step of the process, helped me choose the right materials, and delivered flawless results — on time and within budget… highly recommend

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have just had flooring laid in our kitchen/diningroom/livingroom by Steven and are delighted with it.
Steven was very helpful in searching for a colour match for flooring we already had, communication was excellent and he was professional and personable throughout, so much so that we trusted him to do the job whilst we were away on holiday!
We would highly recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Steven was employed to lay a new kitchen floor for my husband and I. We found him to be excellent! He was always punctual. He laid our floor skillfully and precisely and we are really pleased with the finished job, it is of excellent quality. When he completed his work for the day he always left the area immaculately tidy. I would also add that despite Steven finding that there was a lot more work involved in removing our old floor he kept to his original quoted price. We cannot recommend him highly enough.
